Special Dae

Today is kinda of special
Coz today is my chinese bdae
Wad so special abt it is tat
Actually on tat yr tat i was born in
My bdae is suppose to by 七月初十五
But den due to leap yr my bdae became 六月初十五 instead =)
I onli knew tis recently like few yrs ago
But i always tend to forget all abt it...
I remeber tis yr coz my mum reminded me its 六月初十五
N i reminded her its my bdae
Hahahaha.....
In the past I dun even noe when my chinese bdae is
Onli my ah mah noe the date
N on our chinese bdae
She confirm plus chop will buy roast duck for us
N the bdae person get to eat the 鸭腿
Hehehehe.....
But aft she lose her memory n later pass on
The tradition is den cut off....
Cut off totally in the household
We no longer celebrate our chinese bdae
Nor do we even go tru the trouble to even remember it....
Toking abt my ah mah,
She is not onli missed by us for her remembering of our Chinese Bdae
But also her dishes as well...
Last time our house de fish cake is not buy one lor
Is she go market buy the fish, skin the fish
Cut out the meat n den beat it till it becomes fish paste...
So cool right....
Another thing is the Lala
Something like cockles but not cockles
She will take the Lala meat out
Mix it will water chestnuts and meat
Den put the mixture back into the Lala shell
N fry it
Wah lao it like dame bloody nice lor....
But these veri veri nice dishes no longer exist le....
Last time when I was young and she was welll
I always complain abt her playing majong
But aft she is gone did i start to miss the noise....
Not onli is my ah mah a gd cook
My ah ye is also a good cook
He is gd in dim sum
Tats y i simply luv luv dim sum....
He makes my favourite siew mai n ha gao....
But he rarely makes it at home
Oh yar i also heard he made cha siew bao
If i am not wrong....
But he too had joined my ah mah in the heaven
Making all those delicious dishes for the ppl up dere
N not for us now
Sighz....
Y do ppl always regret not doing enough for sum one
Aft the person had pass on
Y cant we juz do as much as we can to ppl
So as we do not regret aft dey pass on
Seriously....
I reali hoped tat ppl wif grand parents treasure dem
Dey confirm plus chop got some thing which u treasure abt dem
N would miss once dey hab pass on
So why not treasure dem den regret later
Like me
For not treasuring my grandparents n now reali miss their veri veri gd food
Sighz....
Hence I am veri grateful tat i still had my popo wif me
Whom i can treasure n bring a smile to her
During each n every occassion
By having big big events to play in =)
Dun sae i 啰嗦 remember to treasure ur grandparents before u regret it....
